What does it mean to be over qualified for a job position?

When I started my first professional job in the late 70's, the person with the most experience and education got the job-TRUE STORY. When i left the field they had this kid who didn't know SHYTE posted as the head of the dept. in the building. He wasn't more educated than me and he wasn't more experienced. They kept him and kicked my ass out the door. But I was ready to leave.
FAST FORWARD TO 2009:
I would think that no matter how menial the task, it would (or should) be left up to the individual if he or she would be willing to perform the task for the agreed amount of pay. Understanding and coming to grips with the reality and conditions of the job market right now, one may be inclined to accept jobs that they would not normally be interested in; ESPECIALLY if disparity was not the order of the day. And having someone make a call to duty for you (as if you could not do it on your own) to say they will decide when and/or how you will be called to task, seems to add fodder to the overkill of creating even more disparity in hiring practices carried out these days.
Minority people can come to the job force more experienced and better prepared to serve than any factor of the larger society, especially. in their own neighborhood and communities. But for some reason or the other, it is only the larger society who has the wherewithal to maintain any sense of security even in other peoples’ neighborhood and communities.
Why is this so? Why do minority people always wind up giving what they earn back to the larger society with astronomically high taxes, misappropriated spending, giveaways and the like while succumbing to allegations of fraudulent spending, waste, incompetence, arrogance, and sexual misconduct by these same perpetrating saints coming to cleanse us of all our dirt; while they make off with all the money?????
Then they tell us things like

“If you’re a college graduate, don’t put your education on the application or it is certain that you will not get the job”.
Or
“This job is a Dead End one, and you will not be able to advance”.
Or
“Your credentials are impressive, have you tried to get a job in “your” neighborhood,” when we show up in theirs?
And it's as clear to me as a Baboons ass that their not considering minority people in their hiring practices, right now. So, if you're a candidate for a position you're probably "WHITE" with this "over qualified" Bu(ll)sh(it) acting as a smoke screen. I've seen job openings become available, but then they'll tell you that hiring restraints have called off the search, and I know that's the Real Bu(ll)sh(it)! happening in our communities and neighborhoods!!!!!!!!!!BORDER PATROL??????? Yeah, right; suffice to say that only minority people are running around here looking for jobs and "over-qualified"...to feed their families.
You might ask, what is my point and what am I trying to get at, with these statements. My point is, that the larger society is well aware of the disparity it still perpetrates in other peoples’ communities AROUND THE WORLD. With the job situation the way it is right now (which is really just a hoax, ask anyone who knows) the larger society is willing to spend trillions on trying to overthrow the government of Iran by supporting efforts of some group of citizens willing to try to do just that. Where the HELL is that money gonna come from??? Who cares more than “WHITEY” about causing some havoc? NO ONE. So if you don’t think that these people are holding out on everybody but themselves in terms of getting Americans back to work, you better think again. Now lets’ get back to the over qualified Bu(LL)sh(IT) they will surely throw at you while you’re trying to feed your family… this is pure DRAMA, nothing more. It’s designed to create more disparity, as it is the order of the DAY…

So what can we do about it? How can we make the larger society feel less accustomed to the complex he maintains with his Godliness (and it is a GOD COMPLEX he suffers from) is the question of the day. Maybe we can start by showing him that it is not always about “just him”? Maybe we can illustrate that the primary cause of the country’s fledgling economy (that’s a nice pivot) is an outright condition of the larger society’s obstructive behavior; and why wouldn’t it be?
Maybe we should set out to prove that this burdensome effort to unemploy the masses (of minority people especially) will and has had an affect on even themselves in the long run; and therefore, is it worth the effort? How many failures does a non-believer require????
These tactics that the larger society has used around the world is not the same strategy that would work best for its’ own citizenry, I’m inclined to believe. Respect for others should be the call of order, but it’s not, shamefully. No respect for my property and values will surely equate to no respect for your property or values-Trust Me.
Try that and here comes the larger society to wheel its' own influence and break it up....tyranny run rampant is all I see from the likes of this over qualified and let your family starve fiasco.

Yes, I get you. I went for an interview last week, there were 3 wt on the panel.
Early on the oldest person on the panel, a woman, said "I have a problem with
your qualifications". I said, what is the problem? she says "You don't need a Masters
degree for this job". I said , No I don't, but I'm not going to get the job, am I?"
She got real flustered and started telling me about Equal opps....
They think we are stupid.
