“The Legacy of the First African American President: From the Bunk House to the White House”: a revealing look into the work and impact of President Barack Obama. “The Legacy of the First African American President: From the Bunk House to the White House” is the creation of published author, Dr. Samuel Brown. In 1946, Dr. Brown was born in a small, rural Arkansas town where the only means of survival was farming. During the harvest season, he was able to successfully complete school despite the fact he missed school every other day to help bring in the crops. He managed to complete two grades in one year before he went on to complete high school. He attended several colleges and vocational technical schools. He married Olevia Hines Brown in 1967 and had five children. Years later, he obtained an honorary Doctor of Letters degree from St. Stevens Theological Seminary. He has worked for several governmental entities and authored several books. He is the bishop of Life Changers Outreach Ministries, which operates in the US and abroad. He is also the founder of Life Changers Ministries Press.

“You will see the awesome duties of the President. Oh yes, there is a little about racism. However, this book is not about hatred. It’s about history and from where the African-American came and how and the struggles they encountered. There are good, decent, gracious Americans of all walks of life, and there are a few leftover bigots, racists who tend to make some things hectic for many. This is a serious book, but you may see a little humor from time to time.” --Dr. Samuel Brown
