The Compact for Racial Justice Forums: The First 100 Days
Dial in to the bi-weekly series of conference calls hosted by the Applied Research Center. Justice advocates on the Compact Forum calls will track the first 100 days of the Obama administration and shape plans to influence policy affecting racial justice. In addition to engaging featured speakers, participants will share progress on local, state and national efforts, and join a call to action on key issues. Compact Forum calls will be held at 1pm PST (4pm EST) on the following dates:
February 3rd: Race and the Economy
February 17th: Race and Jobs
March 3rd: Race and Health
March 17th: Race and Immigration
March 31st: Race and Civil Rights
April 14th: Special Report Release
April 28th: Race in Review: The first 100 Days

The Obama Presidency signals a desire for a new, more substantive discussion about race in America. The Compact for Racial Justice addresses this need by transcending talk of personal prejudice with compelling evidence of institutional racism and realistic proactive solutions.
