Prior to and since the first landing of the ship of enslavement, Africans were forcefully conditioned, their reasoning inverted, causing their perception and reality to be mangled and twisted. Europeanized and Americanized Africans are de-capitalized by White America’s unjust-enrichment from the holocaust of enslavement. Enslavement of Africans as chattel property was about more than economics.According to Dr. Maulana Karenga, African enslavement must be defined as holocaust. By holocaust he means “a morally monstrous act of genocide that is not only against the people themselves, but also a crime against humanity. The Holocaust of enslavement expresses itself in the three basic ways: the morally monstrous destruction of human life, human culture and human possibility.”Removing African-Americans from their history, enslaving us and brutally exploiting their labor, limited and prevented African-Americans from building their own future based on the origins of Black civilization, which is the human right of all people. The proverbial “past” is not as far back as the general public are lead to believe. In his book Pawned Sovereignty, Ezrah Aharone, uses America’s official version of history that enslavement of Africans in America began in 1619 and was abolished in 1865. This means that to the year African-Americans spent 244 years in captivity.Since it is now 2009, African-Americans have been so-called “free” for only 144 years. This means that they were enslaved for 100 years longer than they have been free. This means that 100 years of our so-called freedom (1865-1965) were spent trying to repair themselves and seeking recognition as humans. Still, today, they are not fully repaired or recognized as others in the global economic family of people. They were “freed” dead broke, while the enslavers were paid reparations based on our ancestors’ production as chattel property.During this time, profiting from un-just enrichment enabled Europeans to amass, centralize, and lockup untold amounts of wealth produced by the system of enslavement. It is not hard to understand why African-Americans are at the bottom of most socio-economic statistics that are good and at the top of those that are bad.So, of our 390 years in America, African-Americans have been out of enslavement and segregation, as we have known it, for only 44 years! Again, the holocaust of enslavement was no that long ago. We must also understand that during the 100 years we sought recognition as humans, the crimes against humanity were being covered-up and generations indoctrinated to the enslavers history, psychology, and denial.

We can invent, we can invest in invention, we can replicate and we can make commodity of what we replicate. Turn off the games and melodramas! divert some time and attention from studying the emotional intricacies of conflicts, hardships and atrocities and direct that energy towards learning and documenting the processes of bringing to fruition what will be and should be made available to serve the needs of the people you claim to have love for.
