Waving American flags, the citizens of Murietta, California turned back buses carrying undocumented immigrants to a center for processing because the centers in Texas was full and in deplorable conditions. The undocumented immigrants were children who had desperately taken a hazardous journey all the way from Central America and had been detained in Texas under the most deplorable conditions. Transporting them away from there was virtually an act of mercy.
“Not with my tax money” these flag wavers, egged on by their mayor, shouted. But, where were they when considerable more of their tax money, billions of it, went to and continues to go to fund wars which have wrecked countries, killed hundred of thousands, rendered millions of men, women and children homeless and even left thousands of our brave misled soldiers killed and maimed, both physically and mentally?
