“Our program takes a hands-on approach, where trainees get one-on-one sessions and are given the opportunity to work on real life projects,” shares Richard Brandt, CEO of Sleekjob, an on demand app and website development platform which allows individuals and entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into reality. The Sleekjob team has been globally recognized for their work advancing the accessibility of creative and tech talent in Africa and providing the needed technical assistance that will allow African entrepreneurs both locally and abroad to pursue software entrepreneurship.

The Sleekjob Academy has plans to train over 100 students by the end of 2016 with international quality level tech training that is essential to help address the high unemployment rate in Ghana and meet the demands of the current market in Africa and beyond.

“Several tech startups and established Ghanaian and global companies have expressed interest in our trainees upon completion of the program. We will assist all trainees with their career goals whether it’s advancing their tech knowledge, launching a company or job placement,” adds Brandt who received a BS in Mathematics from KNUST, completed a two year tech training at the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST), winner of World Summit Youth Award (WSYA) 2011, featured speaker at Tech4Africa Startup Nairobi, and organizer of Stanford VLAB Africa Rising event..
