It was my first relatable account of contemporary urban music that stuck with me. One day I remember I was channel surfing and it was playing. At that time music wasn’t big for me but in a time where MTV played mostly rock music and New Kids On The Block was the pop-sensation, Kriss Kross represented urban rhythm & Hip-Hop. That resonated with me in experiencing a catapulting genre and viewing young people that looked just like me. ATLANTA Kool.
