When the Most High CREATOR GOD Commands us to do something, we do it, and we ask no questions. Noah was obedient when GOD told him to build an Ark and take animals inside with him. And he certainly didn’t ask GOD why HE was going to destroy the wicked, either. Believe me, in that Noah was a Righteous man, he probably wanted to ask the CREATOR what took HIM so long. Forgive me; I kindda went off on a tangent, except that it is wise to observe the days Commanded of GOD.
Anyway, my dear, dear, friend, whom I truly love and couldn’t love more if she were my sibling, sent out warm and sincere wishes to her friends and family for Thanksgiving.
Not to offend her or anyone, but indeed it is to tell the GOD’s Truth. I’m sure most of the Black population in the States observed this Turkey Day. But what Blacks fail to understand is that GOD has nothing to do with this holiday, and HE certainly did not Command that we keep it. In our quest for truth in another man’s land and culture, we have got to stop assuming that everything this White Man invents is of divinity. It behooves us to seek understanding regarding all that our captors establish for their customs.
At the time of this White Man’s so-called “Thanksgiving” and I must add the July 4th holiday, Blacks were enslaved and had absolutely nothing for which to celebrate and be thankful. However, the CREATOR GOD of Heaven and Earth did establish Thanksgiving Days – three of them in fact: one for the Memorial of Passover (Israelite Deliverance out of Egyptian captivity), another at the end of the First Harvest (for the First Fruits) around June, and the last one of the year is at the end of the Second Harvest (the Ingathering) around the end of October. All these Holy Days are for us to observe according to the Hebrew Calendar. Nonetheless, these are the Holy Days that the CREATOR GOD designated for giving absolute THANKS to HIM for HIS Mighty HAND and for the abundant harvest that HE provided from the Land of Israel.
Hence, people should understand how “Thanksgiving Day” came about in the US – under false pretenses and deception. It is important to understand that man’s holidays cannot compare with that of what the CREATOR Commands of us to keep.
And just one more thing, given how much descendants of Slaves are so eager to embrace the customs of our Captors, Blacks must realize that just as our people embrace the White Man’s “Thanksgiving Day”, our people also embrace the White Man’s “Christianity”, both of which are invented. Just for the sake of knowing the truth, people need to do the research! Both the White Man’s “Thanksgiving” and his “Christianity” keep Blacks brainwashed and ignorant of what the True and Living GOD Commands of HIS Chosen and of all Peoples who love HIM and seek HIS Ways.
My dear Sister, as you might have gathered, is a Christian, but I am relentless in my efforts trying to get her to understand that there is but ONE GOD, and that we must live according to all that HE has Commanded and not according to the wicked ways of man. It was the wicked ways of man that brought on the FLOOD of Noah’s day and what will bring on the end of the evils and wickedness of these days, as well.
I hope and pray that my dear Sister and others will seek the CREATOR GOD and become more knowledgeable of all the days HE Designated for THANKSGIVING for HIS PRAISE. And the reason is that the CREATOR said HE will not give HIS GLORY to another.
“I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another,
