What Are You Going To Do About It Part II: Staying Power

Hotep/Greetings all.I've been away from the Black list for a long time now, and for for several reasons.  However, the main reason is the same for many action-oriented African/Black folk like myself.  We are on our grind and most converstation...when we're actually able to make time to even have a conversation...must be centered around the day-to-day operations of being on our grind! That said, it's been about 2 years since I wrote Part I of this article, What Are You Going To Do About It",…See More

Help An African-Centered School Win $20,000!!!

Hotep/Greetings all.  The capital letters are for emphasis, not shouts.  Much respect in the struggle. This concept is SIMPLE and one of EASIEST COLLECTIVE EFFORTS of people who SAY they are Practical Pan-African-Nationalists!  Remember that new U.S. TV Show about to come on, where Schools compete for a makover and needed supplies and resources...hosted by Kym Whitley?  Well, a school can win a  lot of help, including $20,000!  All you have to do is go to the website....listed in the email…See More

Hotep all.Reps From several organizations, including at least one group representing Practical Nationlists, will be at the Tuskegee Fly-in This year. This combination of a celebratory event/working conference is of strategic economic importance to Black folk in Tuskegee Alabama and those African/Black folk who will cooperatively work with them. In addition, those who participate have the chance to demonstrate the "Practical" in Practical Nationalism". See the info below.Respect,Samuel Burnham…See More

We Are One Power Conference at Compro Event Center

November 20, 2009 at 6:30pm to November 21, 2009 at 9:30pm
George c. fraisure, Black Economics Advocate, and Maggie Henderson of the Empowerment Experiment (another famous advocate for Black/African Economic Empowerment), will be there to share their wisdom and networking with participants!Since we as African-Americans are not included to the degree necessary in the curriculum of the established educational system, and because we are convinced that we will not be sufficiently included any time soon, we must have events outside of and apart from the…See More

It was my hopes to be there myself for the NBLC conference but was unable to make it because of my commitments here in Atlanta. Give me a call; I would love to hear how things went. We need a chapter here in Atlanta. I was asked to consider helping to make that happen but my plate is already running over. If I am to be effective I will have to limit my commitments.

The need for financial support for African-centered education is so critical I can not take on any other responsibilities until I make the foundation viable. I so much want to be there for our schools like the one Baba Amefica is heading up that I cannot fathom diverting attention from it. Keep up the good work. Want you to know that your contributions to the cause are greatly appreciated. If only we can get others to be as faithful as you and your wife. How is she by the way? Hope everything is ok. Peace and blessings to you and your family. Adisa

Good day,
How is everything with you, I picked interest on you, after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site. Could you please get back to me. My E-mail address (sotia_teneh4@yahoo.co.th) for the full details. Have a nice day.
thanks
Sotia Teneh.
