"Caps not intended"? That is like saying that shouting is not 'intended' to wake anyone. Intention does not excuse us from accepting the RESULTS of our actions, Sister; didn't The Elders teach you that as they taught the rest of us as children?

And I too, have tried unsuccessfully to reach Abdur on his PAGE. I accepted that he blocks messages, which is his right, and mine, and yours. You are wrong to say you cannot reach him in forums. We all read the forums. You only needed to wait for him to SEE what you could have written to him. Are you really that dishosnest or were you, like Petitfleur says, rushing into shouting out your opinions before you even knew how this site works?

You disappointed me with the insensitivity of your post about Abdur, and now you are disappointing me again, and the fact that you are an Afrikan sister is even more disappointing, given how you are trying to escape taking responsibility for your original transgression and bad taste. No, I do not presume to 'read your mind'. I READ what you WROTE Sister, not your mind; you are trying to change the subject, and doing a bad job of it, too. Almost everything you wrote to me is beside the point, and is inaccurate, so I won't bother to respond to each error. I will ask this though: how can you have the nerve to say I should respect you (which I do, by the way--I STILL have not posted anything insulting you on any main page here--when you did not give Abdur that same respect he deserves as much as you or I do??

Notice that your friend Real Zen Progress did NOT do what you did; she had had disputes with Abdur, but she had the decency to keep those disputes in the fora and in comments pages. Perhaps you have been played for a sucker? Friend, you should look into it.

After this, I have nothing more to say to you on this site, because you obviously are not a serious intellectual, and that is what the best writers on this site are: not emotionalists, not crazed egoists, not 'smack down' wrestlers and shouters and not 'flamers' attacking one another in the public space, but intellectuals.

My advice to you is that you read "The Coloniser and the Colonised," and become more serious about decolonising your mind, as every serious Afrikan from the contenent has done (Ms. Bessie Head, Wole Soyinka, Kwame Nkrumah, Desmond Tutu, Ngugi, Ms. Saadawi, Amos Tutola, and all the others whom I am sure you know of).

After you have gained some sensitivity and the due respect for your Afrikan American brothers and sisters, come back and say something real, rather than the dishonest, self serving comments you have made here to me about my defending my Brother Abdur. In the meantime I regard you as another African who patronizes African Americans, projecting YOUR sicknesses onto US without knowledge or understanding of us.

I know that many Ghananians are actually of African American birth (I've been to Ghana, you see. as well as Nigeria, Mozambique, South Afrika, and Côte d'Ivoire,), so you might even be simply a self hating African American in Ghana. Either way, stop talking about what was on your MIND and in your heart and deal with making your ACTIONS reflect your INTENTIONS

Thanks for confirming me to you webpage. I would like to know all there is to know about living in Ghana, the good, the bad and the ugly. I am not sure how to skype or use the Yahoo system for calling. I have a Yahoo email so I will look into it. What is the best "time" for calling?
