Alex Pascall OBE - Broadcaster, Voicecaster, Presenter, Oral Historian, Stories Consultant, Songwriter & Children’s Playwright.
Alex came to Britain in 1959, he was one of the Grenada Bee Wee Ballet Dance Troupe contingent that represented the island for the Inauguration of the Federation of the West Indies in Trinidad in April 1958.

Alex has a unique Archive resource as the pioneering broadcaster and producer of the first black and daily magazine radio programme for BBC Radio London, a spellbinding voice that wafted over the airways of London for 14 years. Interviews include rare and early moments with Bob Marley, Muhammad Ali, Michael Jackson, Kitchener, Miriam Makeba, notable male and female pioneering international, Caribbean, and British politicians, actors, Lord David Pitt, leading authors and community innovators, sportsmen and visual artists and many more
He was awarded the Honorary Member of the National Union of Journalists, Alex is the co-founder of The Voice newspaper, a Voiceover Artist, humorist, storyteller, cultural strategist, communicator par excellence, creative education consultant and lecturer, a visionary in cultural, media and community affairs as well as a singer/songwriter of seven titles for the BBC children’s series, Teletubbies to mention just a few seasoned skills.
A former Presenter and Producer of Britain's first Black Radio Magazine programme Black Londoners with the BBC; a radio and television personality who played a pivotal role as ‘Advisor to the BBC on West Indian Affairs’ in the 1980’s, a writer and performer and cultural consultant for the successful pre-school BBC TV series Teletubbies landmark World Series, Chairman of the Notting Hill Carnival and National Coordinator for Caribbean Focus 1986 (Commonwealth Institute & CARICOM Governments Initiative to promote the Caribbean in Britain) In 1996 he was awarded the O.B.E for 'Services to Community Relations' by Her Majesty the Queen. Most recently Alex is consulting for an upcoming animation in pre-production and is President for Llangollen International Music Eisteddfod, Wales
