Dear Mr Cameron,

It is impossible to properly express the jaw dropping injustice of the recent vote on the benefit cap, yet that almost pales into insignificance in the face of the staggering deception being practised by all those who voted for it.

The banks have received the greatest benefits payout in modern history, I don't have access to the figures for the benefits enjoyed by the aristocracy throughout history at the peoples expense, but in recent times the banks have hit a jackpot in excess of £1 trillion according to the National Audit Office.

Of course, this generosity to the banks isn't the end of it by any means with PFI contracts providing a return of £301 billion on a layout of what looks a puny £54 billion by comparison. To that £301bn must also be added whatever the outrageous return will be from a further 39 projects being procured in March this year.

This enforced generosity from the public purse to the private sector and the banks, who alone were responsible for the global crash, is staggering, and yet parliament overwhelming voted to cap benefits to the poor to facilitate these mind blowing benefits to the financial sector.

This year the generosity of the banks in self imposed rewards for their crimes will top £80 billion, which represents £1,250 for every man woman and child in the UK.

Every member of parliament who voted to cap benefits deserves nothing less than horse whipping and that is the very kindest response I can think of.

This imposition of poverty for the innocents to pay for the privileges of the guilty with money taken from the very mouths of children defies the imagination. Best of all though, is that, if we, the people, express our outrage or criticise such policies we are considered to be mentally deranged and can be locked up without charge for psychological assessment. Now that is truly priceless!
