Is the President forgetting the poor to favor the rich?

The President recently ordered the ending of the "companion exemption" for home care workers like me.  This means home care workers will only be allowed to work overtime if they are paid time and a half.  But if the money's not there (and it ain't) we won't be allowed to work more than 40 hours per week.  So his illusion of "fairness" will cost me about $4,700 annually.  Other home care workers will lose over half their pay!  Who benefits?  The rich unions because this will requirethe hiring of more poorly-paid home care workers, most of whom will be forced to pay at least $25.10 per month to the unions!
