As you may know, October is Black History Month/African Heritage Month in the United Kingdom.

The British Black History Month was originally set up in order to celebrate the contributions of people of African heritage. It was intended to be the official Black History Month for local authorities, schools, libraries, etc. It was NEVER intended to be the ONLY Black History Month.
