We know the problems are, and we've been
given some good tools --- we must find the
will to get up and go to work! Whether we know
it or not the Naiton of Black is under direct and
intense challenges to our survival as a nation of people.

Living in the DC area-the enthusiasm for Obama is palpable. There's an unprecedented spirit in the air. I haven't encountered any hostility from anyone of color since the election. Even females by themselves will acknowledge me with a hello or nod of the head as we pass each other at night. Since election night there's a sense of harmony-vague but yet noticeable. Black people seem to like each other more.

Let's milk this good feeling we have before the enemy creates a scenario to where we go back to being forced to deal with negative vibes. We're all feeling good these days,and being on the street doesn't hurt so much...because I believe we've finally overcome the concept of hopelessness being inevitable.

Maybe Obama will be no better for black folks...after all both he and Bush have the same boss. I've resolved to redouble my efforts because I've seen progress
toward re-establishment toward Maat occurring. People want harmony more than chaos-I ride public transportation every day-I've seen the difference.

I personally have consciously decided to strive to be less cynical and to be more loving. A tall order,if you knew me. But I'd be irresponsible to continue to wallow in despair while the doors to freedom were being opened.

Thank you for giving me a forum to express myself. Peace and prosperity.

How can Akyeampong and the like of Akyeampong be serious brothers? SADA was formed in 1970 by descendants of Africans on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean and when Akyeampong started his web site, SADA immediately went to him and requested that we work together to create a better understaning among us as Africans. He kept quiet. Did nothing yet he keeps on publishing works of deceased Africans who neither created institution nor left legacies to continue their works.  Most Africans are like Tamiru.  Always there is a New beginning. Those who are serious should form a 501 C 3 Organization and invite the African public to join.  We must obey our laws  governing our charitable institutions and cannot Negrocise in wasting our lives as most of our past adults did, leaving us with no institution to continue with our social thoughts and understanding.
