MalcomXavier, As a point for reference, your recent message to all members is attached below.

Malcolm:
The purpose for asking a question is to get an answer.
I'll assume that one asks a question to add to one's knowledge and/or the get clear what ever in unclear.
This is the intention on this forum.

Yes, there may be room for debate; however, I am not interested in That Type Or Format Of Debate Popularlised By Electionairing - I am not interested in scoring point and verbal sparing or being in a tog-o-war from fixed immovable positions and strongly held beliefs.

Unless one is open to transforming one's position and be that one's view in only one of many possible POINTS-OF-THE-VIEW, then our efforts are wasted and the exercise could be diagnosed as maddness - doing the same thing again and again hoping for a different result.

A message from MalcolmXavier to all members of Ask Me Anything. on TheBlackList Pub!

Last week Isigned up for this group only becuase I noticed that it had the greatest number of active members. I posed a series of questions as a basis for my signing up, which were rhetorical at best since I had to sign up in order to post my questions, however, my questions were never posted, even though I am now a member of the group.

I asked essentially whether the members of this group were beyond knee-grow trivia, as I see so many like sites are, full of nonsense, gossip, and bullshit. I said that I would join the group if its members could respond to my questiions about where we are, in my view. And my view is that we are no furhter away from the plantation than our ancestors were when they imported us from Afrika to build and maintain this cancer on civilization. And, I asked that questuion in light of how much time and resiurces we are devoting to making sure that this new "knee-grow" Obama gets into the white folks' house" or the "White House," which in
reality for black, brown, red, and poor people is "da big house."

I am challenging the passing off of plantation politics by sites like this, that purport to be about and the product of the Afrikan Revolution, of positions that promote the exact opposite.

Most of the emails I recieve from this site have been about promoting Obama, few havequestioned or challenged his positions, or lack thereof, on the pressing issues confronting our people, damn America. And certainly, I understand that any knee-grow running for top management of the plantation cannot speak against slavery, but it doesn't then make sense for the enslaved to be in support of this change in appearance and not in substance.

I do not care who disagrees with me, I invite and appreciate opposing views so that we may engage in dialogue that both moves us forward, and exposes one of our positions as being incorrect. I have not found that conversation on this site as of yet, Do not let me down.

This a response to comments posted by Brother Mongezi to my introductory posting for this group:

Brother,
My response to your post was not a knock on you, nor what you have done. I have a fundamental problem with black folk in Amerikkkka constantly rapping their "hopes and dreams" into the bullshit demoncratic processes of the oppressor, which you seemed to espouse in your article. Just the other day I recieved one of many emails concerning Obama, in which the sister contended that the "hopes and dreams" of our entire race were wrapped up in his quest for what I refer to as "da big house." I have never wished or dreamed about a black person becoming "massa," because whether he or she be black, white, or indifferent, I would still be a slave. This is the fundamental issue that we, as reflected in your post, are willing to forego in order to claim that we have acheived something. My question is "What?" You were taling about the importance of our people getting out to vote in order to make sure that this knee-grow gets into the da' big house, while my position is why in the hell are we running around here in the 21st century contining to give power to da'big house and the plantation system.

All of your scietific talk means nothing when ultimately your position comes down to supporting the plantatation mentality, which is that our greatest hope lays in participating and not challenging the system...and by advocating that voting in this system is all that important as you did in your piece that I responded to, this is exactly what you did. And do not come to me with your past experiences of rowin up in apartheid south Africa as some sort of superior creditial for speaking about the subject, for America was the first and remains the oldest apartheid state in the world.

KWASI Akyeampong Comment by KWASI Akyeampong on September 5, 2008 at 1:17pm
My response to questions asked is:
1. Not the truth - it not even a truth
2. Not fact
3. Is MY response

Accepting my response make no difference.
Dismissing my response make no difference.

What makes a difference is the willingness to get my response and try it on - look out from my response.

What makes a difference is having ones actions be consistent to and with ones ideals.

Rhetoric makes no difference.
And, this is only my view.

What makes a difference is me being a light to own feet and a beacon unto others.
