What do you think about Black Economics as the next cultural revolution?

I do not think about Black Economics.

okay... what do you think about integration? (am I within the guidelines of your topic?)

I do not think about integration.

And what do you think about Marcus Garvey and what he was trying to do?

I do not think about "Marcus Garvey and what he was trying to do"

NOTE:

  1. Language and words matter

Okay, lol. I'm going to bow out here because it seems you have some rules of engagement that I don't have time in my schedule to learn. If someone knows what I mean and they want to give an answer they will give it. Requiring someone to ask you in a specific way for your opinion using specific words is not something I can agree with.

The purpose of language is mutual understanding. If you understand enough to try to educate then you understood what was being asked of you. Now we have reached the point that I no longer care what the answer is because language and words matter to you more than they do to me. What matters to me is the understanding and I think you understood. Understanding can be reached through many means. We could draw pictures or use Morris code. If I was your student and we were in class learning English it would be appropriate to enforce your understanding of the language. However, this is not the case and I wouldn't correct a foreigner's English just because I knew it was wrong. Especially not in a public setting. I think that is unnecessary.

Again, the key is understanding. I'm happy to participate on this site and share my views and opinions with others, but I definitely don't have time to jump through hoops to get someone else's opinions or views. So please excuse me.

Don't be too put off by the brother's unwillingness to put himself out there. After all, technically he did answer your question, although with the same empty answer. Hmm. Wonder what he does think about?

Anyway, I would like to offer my thoughts about your questions.

What do I think about Black economics as the next cultural revolution?

Ans. Although I support black businesses whenever possible and invest in certain black business ventures, I do not think this is the answer to our root problem, which is a lack of identity, IMHO.

Our oppressor has the world trapped in his economic system whereby he eats the fat of the land (real resources) in exchange for pieces of paper (I.O.U.'s). Of course, this is why Ghadaffi had to die - he wanted gold for his oil and other natural resources. Boom. Gone.

Once we understand our true identity anything is possible, even the dismantling of his closed loop economic con game.

And, it is not necessarily a question for Blacks or Africans, or exclusively for those with children in Chicago Public Schools. How do you feel about condom dispensers being placed in Chicago Public High Schools?…Continue
