Opening Doors To Being Free

during obama's lil speech at grant park in chi-town he made a reference to "our founding father" and the ideals that they had envisioned for amerikkka. how dare that nigga say "our founding father," when white folk founding fathers had our forefathers and foremothers in physical bondage, out in the field from can see in the morning to can't see at night. is that nigga sick or what? you will never catch the white jew saying anything nice about the legacy of nazism. it goes to show how sick the black man's mind is. it is a testament of the white man's control and absolute ownership of the mentality that the black man exerts. and that is the very reason why the black collective will continue to be controlled by the psycho structure of white supremacy.

you'd have to be completely out of your damn mind to reflect back on the founding fathers and then turn around and make them your founding fathers as afrikan people who have been basically beaten in all areas of our existence, short of our natural spiritual nature, which is first and foremost godly. and if that's not the underlying basis for such a jackass of a comment, then there is another-an agent of the enemy state, feigning to be the change that the black collective has been in dire straights for, the change that white folk have even fell victim to. but, i couldn't give a damn about what travails that the white collective all of a sudden is going through.

there must come a time when the black collective must be taught that there is a snakish element within our ranks that is just as much as the enemy as the white ruling class. and this scheisty entity is none other than the so-called black leaders. their failure to tell us what time it really is, on purpose for a purpose, is the sole reason why the black collective has been so manipulated and grossly deceived that it doesn't take much for the white ruling class to conjure up a fine black image, a white man in black face, and project it onto the black collective and with not one iota of resistance on our part.

obama is the latest political black pied piper that the black collective has been drugged with, in order to further control them, especially the black youth, because, given the right formula, which is revolutionary philosophy, it would be virtually unstopable in overthrowing a system that has threatened our existence in the worse ways that this planet has felt. never has there been a time where afrikan people have been attacked in the various forms of warfare-such as biological warfare, chemical warfare, cultural warfare and religious warfare-than before our defeat at the hands of modern white supremacy.

and after seeing all the black folk crying their tears of joy, over a long time coming, ever waiting so patiently, wishing, hoping and praying to God, that a black man, if not but for a lil moment or for just a flash, can finally become president of a regime that has been nothing but anti-afrikan since its inception, it has dawned on me that we're becoming more hopeless by the day, in the face of shriving for black sovereignty, recognizing ourselves as a continued displaced nation, as opposed to a still second class citizenship, and an illusory we-are-amerikkkans-too.

it is beyond saying that afrikans-n-amerikkka are so naive and gullible, that they haven't an inkling of an idea, as to how things really work in the sadistic world of politics. they have been so sold on the public image, the outer rim of inner politicing, that it seems that there is hardly any progress in the reshaping of the psycho-pompus minds of the black collective. again, we have no one to blame but the bunch of niggas, who were supposed to have been leading us in the field of politics (after they gained our heartfelt trust, because they were supposed to be black intellects), as it applies to what's best for the black collective. instead, what politicing they've projected onto us has only benefitted them, and created a one percent negro millionaire clique and black middle class circle, both of them having decided and concluded long ago, on the hinge of the post-civil rights movement, that it is perfectly alright to have faith in the government of the united snakes and promote amerikkkan fascist capitalism.

it is certainly mind blowing, overly amazing, to see the almost total collapse of the black collective mind, as it sinks deeper into the abyss of mental darkness, rooted in an abnormal social-psychology, that persuades the black collective to manifest a type of frame of mind, which pretends, in the highest form of denial, that the election of obama is going to be their break, or at least a lil loosening of the noose, from five hundred years of white terrorism.

in fact, there some brothas and sistars, as painful as it is to refer to them as such, who are aware of the same disgusting things, but have went along with the obama craze anyway, just because they can say finally, at last, in order to have a chance to be a part of history, a history that goes no further than feel good history, predicated on an emotional trip, just as the black collective has been sold on the trials and tribulations of jesus, who is said to have died for us. and the beat goes on...

The Meanings of Victory
[col. writ. 11/04/08] (c) '08 Mumia Abu-Jamal

The count has been called and Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. has become the 44th President of the United States of America.

But, in truth, history will record him as #1 - the first African-American president.

It is undeniable that this is a singular political achievement, a work of impressive political skill, and (we must admit) a gift of the political gods.

Among friends, in the privacy of a prison visiting room I've often made the following half-joke. Obama wins handsomely, and in his acceptance speech, flush with victory, loaded with 'political capital', he would open by saying, "My fellow Americans -- first and foremost, I want to thank the one person who made my election possible (if not inevitable): George W. Bush!"

I always got a laugh, for like all good jokes the truth makes it happen.

And the truth is, without the blunders of Bush, Obama would've been an also-ran. His fundamental issue, which set him apart from the rest of the Democratic pack, was his early opposition to the Iraq War. That gave him a wind that carried him far and long beyond his competitors, who were, for the most part, half-hearted war supporters -- or worse, people who supported the war only because to not do so, would've harmed their political careers (or so they thought).

That wind carried him to the Oval Office, the grandest prize in U.S. politics.

But what does it mean?

We cannot deny its symbolic value. In millions of Black homes, his picture will be placed on walls, beside Martin, John F. Kennedy, and a pale painting of Jesus. I'd be that quite a few African homes (especially in Kenya) will also boast his smiling visage.

But beyond symbol is substance, and substantively, some scholars have defined Obama as little different from his predecessors. Political scientist Clarence Lusane, writing in a recent issue of The Black Scholar pointed to the money men behind both Obama and the Democratic Party, and noted the following:

The promotion of U.S. hegemony, expansion of markets for U.S. corporations, security-based
multilateral relations, protectionist trade policies, and a focus on terrorism will likely be key
priorities demanded by the major political and financial backers of the Democratic Party.
In other words, in a number of key areas, an Obama administration would echo the policies of
both George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton." *

Yet, symbols are powerful things. Sometimes, they have a life all their own. They may come to mean something more than first intended.

History has been made.

We shall see exactly what kind of history it will be.

Our Delusional Need for a Black President, Part I

a commentary by Omowale Za

Black Reparations Activist

*******

Black Socio-Psychologist Amos N. Wilson is noted for his assessment that the reasons for integration were primarily psychological and not economic. This is evident by the fact that integration led to the demise of major Black economic strong-holds throughout the U.S. An example frequently sited is Auburn Avenue in Atlanta, Georgia.

Wilson’s thesis is that Black People were on the road to greater economic freedom on our own basis and in spite of White People. Indeed, the attacks against us in Rosewood, Tulsa, Oklahoma and other centers reflected resentment of our economic progress by White People. We chose to limit our economic progress due to our feelings of inferiority. We needed to eat at the same restaurants and to attend the same schools in order to feel “equal”. Wilson also challenges our motivations in wanting to feel “equal” to People who have spearheaded so much damage against us. This is delusional. In this light, the Obama election to the Presidency is quite enlightening.

As a point in fact or of interest, noted Black Historian J.A. Rogers, The Five Negro Presidents, has documented that we have already had five Black U.S. Presidents. An important difference, of course, is that these Black Presidents were passing for White. Rogers challenges us to research the facts and proof for ourselves and not to simply take his word for it.

It is virtually impossible to have a sensible conversation with a U.S. African slave descendant about the delusional nature of our attachment to the Obama campaign and election. None with who I have spoke have offered any objective proof that the fact of a Black President adds in any way to the Black Power base in the U.S. Another viewpoint might question what Black Power base there is in the U.S. that is not attached to the dominant White society. That is, we have no social system of our own as do other ethnic groups. One could say that we are the only “individuals” in the U.S. Everybody else is attached to their ethnic or class group and functions as a entity on their own basis, more or less, except us. No social system that we control equals no economic system that we control. We are the world’s largest liquid economy that is controlled by others based upon the world’s largest cohesion contract where we are “attached” to a dominant system without a referendum or plebiscite. Hence we are not self determining and most of what we engage is by necessity on some kind of informal or psychological basis.

If Obama’s election does not augment Black Power in the U.S. it augments White Power. He will not have to be accountable to a Black status quo but to the powers that be who are White in this country. It could be just a question of time before Blacks could be out in the streets demonstrating against President Obama due to our delusional expectations of what his election should mean to us as a People. The proposition then that we needed a Black Presidents for psychological purposes is far reaching in its implications.

Part II is forthcoming.

This is not Obama's fault. It is the fault of so-called "black nationalists" who are too sorry and lazy to study African history as a basis upon which to organize a political party, an All-African party to govern the affairs of the African Nation. It is the Party that must lead the civil society instsituions that will make African governemnt accountable and responsive in the country and throughout the African Diaspora, but especially in the African Union. Anything short of Work/Study in the Party is just so much hot air, so much waste of valuable time. By Work/Study I do mean a serious study of African history. Begin with Africa and Unity by Thompson.

uhuru,

"If Obama’s election does not augment Black Power in the U.S. it augments White Power. He will not have to be accountable to a Black status quo but to the powers that be who are White in this country."

i second the motion! obama knows exactly what he has to do in order to stay afloat or they'll sink his boat. and he has the same plan that the rockefeller population council has had for afrika for quite some time.

"It is the fault of so-called "black nationalists" who are too sorry and lazy to study African history..."

and you're fulla shit! i know black nationalist that would carve your silly-ass commentaries to pieces. and, again, your commentaries have the smell of agent provocatuer all over them. that's why you comment the way that you do.

"i know black nationalist that would carve your silly-ass commentaries to pieces. and, again, your commentaries have the smell of agent provocatuer all over them."

Well, you sure seem expert at name calling and n-wrods. If that is not "provocation", I don't know what is.

But, my point about "black nationalists" is they are too chicken, sorry, lazy and cowardly to deal with the essence of the issues. All they want to do is hide behind an unprincipled attack against a brother such as me, such as Obama. They are too cowardly to attack Aunt Condoleezza. They had no criticisms of bush's war crimes.

I mean, give me a break! Obama has outed the whole bush administration. Those idiots are subject to be prosecuted for war crimes and for human rights violations. But, you "black nationalists" are still yet to find fault with what bush and cheney and rice did. This is why I see you as lying hypocrites. You do not stand on any principles whatsoever. All I see you doing is launching an opportunistic attack, an unprincipled criticism.

Lack of principle is symtomatic of a lack of knowledge and understanding. You are ignorant. This is why the remedy is Politcal Education. But, you are too sorry and lazy to exert the effort necessary to learn. This is why you call yourselves "black nationalists". If you had any sense at all, you would commit to Pan-Africanism. But, Pan-Africanism is a very complex and sophisticated science which requires many years of study to grasp and understand. Yet, Pan-Africanism is the only way to overcome the effects of slavery and colonialism. In this context, "black nationalism" is nothing but a cowardly copout. You do not fool me. Fool yourself.

Obama is assembling his cabinet with many from the Clinton adminstration, along with advice from the creator of the Tri-Lateral Commission, Zbigniew Brezinski, and major World Financier, David Rockefeller. So we shouldn't expect too much from this administration. There is even some suggestion that they try to role over everyone's 401K's into Social Security, thereby, in acuallity, confiscating it. In addition he is advocating that everyone 18 -25 years of age be required to perform some type of "community service" . This is similar to what Hitler and the Soviet Union did in years past. Just something for everyone to think about.

didn't i say the man was backed by the Bilderberger group? Illuminati and Skull and Bones? how did i know that? well, as Nobel Drew Ali use to say, "when you know the nature of a thing, you know what it will do!" IF this saying sounds familiar its because in the movie Blade, Wesley Snipes' character is telling this to N'Bushe Wright's character when they are chasing the wanna-be...

so with this information in hand, what on earth is the thinking of the world in reference to Obama... or does the world have this information? and without it, is it possible for the world to think in an INFORMED manner? or is opinion enough?

Amura Onaa tells us that when our Ancestors were being torn apart from each other, we looked into each other’s eyes and made a solemn promise. We promised to reconnect with each other so that this tearing apart would never happen again.

Maybe this is where your problems start. Instead of focusing so much on romantic mythodology, may I suggest to you that you spend more time studyig African history.

"It is the Afrikan belief that we choose to be born when we are in the spirit world..."

I do not know what Africans you are talking about. I certainly do not believe this non-sensense. In fact, I know many Africans. None has ever related such non-sense to me. Could it be that you are into another myth?

"It is now Tuesday, November 4, 2008. Is this the final act of assimilation, accommodation, and integration? Is this how we are fulfilling our promise to the Ancestors? Has America made restitution for what was done to them, still being done to us?"

Well, it is now May 12, 2009. And since Novembebr 4, we have seen an improvements in the situations in Zimbabwe, Somalia, Sudan and Palestine. It is still too ealy to be sure. But, one could be forgiven for being hopeful and positive.

May I suggest to you that you spend more time "analysing" anf criticizing the right wing of the Dummy-craitc Party. Obama is a politician. Her sits in the balance. He is going to go the way that he feels the most pressure coming from. If you be positive and nationalistic, a big IF, perhaps you should bring pressure against the right wing. Start by criticizing the Clintons for their unprovked attack on Sudan. Remember, this happened before the Darfur farce occured. So, they had no reason for this except sectarianism and feminism. It was also before Sudan contracted to sell most of their oil to China and the Muslims and not the west. Criticize that bacause if you do not, you are likely to see more such insanity now that your hereine Miss Hilary is Secretary of State.

Now, that Miss Hialry is writing foreign policy, expect to see more slaughter ot innocent men, women and children ifn Pakistan and Afghanistan and Palestine. I think she gets her kicks by murder. But, she is not the only right wing Dummy-crat whispering in Obama's ear.

Look at the economic and finance bailout. Obama still has several of bush criminals on the dark sidelines, whispering the same stupid economic theories that got the country into this mess in the first place. Not only that, some of them are being huge bonuses with your tax dollars. Obama can do nothing unless you and people like you raise some hell about these sorts of things. What's the matter? Are you chicken? If anything, Obama has created the situation in which you can speak out and be heard. But, all you can do is compalin about November 4? Wake up.

"Let us not forget them. Let us organize sustainable struggle and self-sustaining institutions that can protect our people from the intentional “disasters” of monopoly capitalism, and save them in the natural disasters caused by the greed and selfishness of the rulers."

Okay... What about organizing a support system to establish a united state in the Somali nation? Don't you think 18 years is enough to be without a central government. But, the logic behind that would be a united Sudan as well. Do you have what it takes to get serious about Pan-Africanism?

When you get serious, you will see work to build up a continental army and navy in Africa. This would enable us to collect taxes to finance industry in Africa. This is what is meant about scientific socialism. This is why I began this commentary by urging you to study history and not myth. Myth is not scientific. History correctly studied is scientific. Upon a scientific study of African history we will arrive at scientific socialism which ia an integral part of Pan-Africanism.

And what of the exceptions? What!

And what of the Black people that willingly participated in the capture and trade of our forefathers? Traded the lives of your forefathers for guns and drugs and status.
And what of the Black people that owned and guided the slave galleons to these shores?
And what of the Black planters that owned and exploited the same chattel slaves as their white counterparts?
And what of the Black people that designed and built solutions for us all on those foundations of pain, sweat, blood, death and corruption?

Do we continue to ignore their contributions?
Do we only claim the tragic abuses?
Do we only sing the blues, hymns and fight songs?

Is our entire make-up a simple transition from being warrior kings fighting each other on our mother continent to victims of social and labor abuses? Will we always be recipients of corporate welfare programs, fast talking pimps in priests garb, well meaning white folks that only seek to right the wrongs of the corrupt individuals that made them wealthy, and violent self destructive bastard children running feral in the streets with semi automatic weapons, shouting "Liberation"?

Our forefathers, from the slavers that raped our fore mothers that generated so many of us to our forefathers, who ran, fought and prayed for brighter days, our forefathers, who secreted knowledge to their children, our forefathers, who elected a black man to be the president of the Continental Congress that founded this hodge podge of states.

We should stop ignoring the investment of those that came before us, that we might be able to build something for those that will follow.

Just because it hurts to look at the truth of it.

When will we pull up our trousers and learn the language of the people that sit at the grown folks table of design and decision and use it?

Dahomey was the worst slave trading state in the history of mankind. It is precisely, exactly the same culture that Dahomey gave us that inspires present day so-called "black nationalists" And, most of them are too ignorant to know it, and too lazy to find out the truth. But, it is not until we face the truth that we will solve our problems.

They not hear that we've been fighting about who wears skirts and who wears blue for the last five thousand years.

They want to burn the libraries.
