This time ask what KIND of difference; what KIND of change. Hope you
don't wake up in a concentration camp. THAT would be different.

Mary, it sad.
And, I am not surprised at your emotional response.
Deductive thought and reasoning has become a lost ability.

Thanks for being a perfect example of this dis-ability.

Thank you for asking these very salient questions.   Voting in our community seems to be about nothing more than euphemisms!  I don't understand how anyone can talk about being for King and Brother Malcolm and then turn around and vote for Obama.   When do we start voting for people who truly represent our interest?  When the hell was the Black freedom movement ever about invading and plundering other countries and bombing the hell out of people????  Please tell me when it ever was about that?

Please which of our ancestors died for us to vote for people who didn't give a damn about our community?   Which one of our ancestors died for us to vote to give undying allegiance to a political party that doesn't respect our community and that takes our votes for granted?    I'm waiting to hear that answer.   I thought they died for us to have the right to vote so that we can empower ourselves?   Instead our votes have been turning the clocks back on any progress we have made.   Because voting for evil -- whether it is the lessor of it or not.   We have allowed ourselves to be conditioned to think like that.   What a shame!

How nice to read MakembaX trusting reply. Unfortunately realisation of the political strategy does not even then indicate that an individual's vote will alter any balance of voting results or encounter a reputable political party. However pessimism is a mistake as each individual has a circle of influence, each family, and thus if people begin to understand that they must have solutions to a problem it may be possible to see a growth of consensus in a community that may spread even further and widely influence the strength of each individual vote. I think it is this possibility, if trust in the answer to this question above could be established, the individuals would find satisfaction in agreement among friends and group, so that response to politicians would begin to carry force. I think that Obama has not been confronted with a steady measure of objection to his presidency( such as a constant and growing communication through the internet that has in some individual cases elsewhere produced a turn around or change of law). I think that the great energy Kwasi has driven into this strong website Blacklist is the energy that must be adopted - the number of subjects his members send in is remarkable and maybe there could be growth in response through the internet likewise to many of those problems and/or statements. The sense that communication gives solidarity should be tried by all who have anything to state. There is no measure that could condemn our human search for agreement, no definition that self-consciousness should prevent.

VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA! Open letter to the progressive Black/Afrikan Community.
If you think you have no reason to vote for President Obama, then think about your aging parents and grandparents. Saving Medicare and Medicaid. The Social Security that you and our people have worked for life times. To quote Atty. Chokwe Lumumba, Chairman New Afrikan People's Organization, "What is good for Afrikan People is Good for everybody". Afriakns would have social safety nets, because we are a communal people, who know how important a group and collective philosophy is fair and more Hue-mane. I know you know the liberation philosophy, but remember nationalists have entered the political arena and made a difference, i.e, Chokwe Lumumba, Kwame Kenyetta and so on.
Voting and participating in the political process, does not stop you from preparing for war. Are you ready? If you are not, you are just talking smack. All Afrikans must promote transformative change, from the aisles of political power to the streets. Revolution is inevitable in every form and fashion!

I welcome your comments.
