"Vote-Buying" Issue Should Be Non Issue

"Vote-Buying" Issue Could Backfire On Quinn and Supporters

There are some religious leaders and organizations who wish this 2010 "Vote Buying" issue would GO AWAY as they have yet to do as Father Pfleger and St Sabina, Black United Fund Of Illinois (BUFI) and a handful of others have done in publicly showing how they used the money and those few groups who did so in NO WAY reflect the number who received part of the $54 Million Dollar Grant, BUT there is no way the issue can go away for them because for EVERY TIME Democrats and supporters of Quinn accuse Rauner of "Buying Votes" then Rauner and supporters come right back with the "Vote Buying" allegations against Quinn that is still under federal investigation and this could get very ugly for some there is any kind of official ruling on the money management between now and this election in November. Quinn could score political points with their Rauner "Vote Buying" piece but at the same time could also be bad news for some Quinn supporters who may not have managed the funds properly from the investigation, but despite any negative that could come from the federal investigation for some doesnt seem to matter to Quinn and his campaign for they never let the "vote buying" issue go away for it seems that it's now a permanent part of the Quinn Campaign theme in response to any Rauner investment, especially in the Black and Hispanic communities. I really wish they BOTH would leave the issue alone for as I have always stated that in ALL of my political life and campaigns that ALL monies spent by any campaign at any and all times is ultimately designed to GET VOTES!! But my political reality says that the issue WON'T go away for just today the media is still quoting Secretary Of State Jesse White and other major Democratic Quinn supporters with the standard Rauner Vote Buying charges and it won't be long before Rauner people respond back with their standard Quinn "vote buying" allegations and investigation.

And so it is I guess, so I'll continue to lift up in prayer that their are no personal or professional casualties for any of my religious and non profit allies who are a part of the investigation and do good work and should not be made casualties of because a partisan political campaign, but for the last time, the issue WOULD probably go away if Quinn Campaign and supporters would STOP with the "Vote Buying" allegations against Rauner, and then Rauner's people could stop publicly pushing for any kind of ruling they could use before the November election. I am just one political pundit with just one political opinion but I wish both campaigns and media as well could just start with this is as a non issue for all funds are spent to win votes. I don't think I will win this argument and appeal, for maybe I only care that some good people with good work don't caught up as personal or professional casualties because of a partisan political campaign personal campaign attacks.
