"Jayda Raspberry is an organizer with Dignity and Power Now, an organization that fights for the dignity and power of incarcerated people, their families, and communities, and an end to the Prison Industrial Complex (PIC). Incarcerated at the age of 18, Jayda spent six years in California's Valley State Prison for Women. She left prison "inspired to bring awareness to what she calls the "ugly truth behind those walls.""
