First ever Black Heritage Book Fest lands in Toledo Ohio on February 21, 2015. Local authors, artists and bloggers are encouraged to participate.

On Saturday, February 21, the creators and founders of Toledo's Natural Hair Expo will bring to Toledo it's first ever Black Heritage Book Fest! The FREE AND PUBLIC event will be hosted in the Wynston E Dixon Hall of Braden United Methodist Church, located at 4725 Dorr St in Toledo, Ohio.

The Black Heritage Book Fest is an event celebrating African American culture in literature, art and music. This one­-of-­a-­kind event will help to promote literature, reading, writing and library usage within the African American community.

Vendors are welcome to purchase a $30 Vending table via the website or contacting the event coordinators.

Space is limited.

The Book Fest will feature workshops presented by authors, artists and entrepreneurs from around the Midwest.

Featured guests include Terreece M. Clarke of LifeSlice Media, poet and activist T. Miller, comic book publisher Victor Dandridge, and author Philana M. Boles.
