Come see and learn how enslaved African descent Union Navy sailors helped to defeat the Confederates in the Mississippi Valley whose statues are being removed from public places. Knowing the crucial importance of information concerning the enemy for any successful military effort, these hundreds and thousands of willing and eager scouts, spies, guiders, pilots, and informer, available only to the Union forces, constituted a major source of superiority for the Union forces as opposed to their enemy.
