MO'NE DAVIS TO JOIN JACKIE ROBINSON WEST DAY AT RAINBOW/PUSH SATURDAY AUGUST 30TH

 

National Black Wall Street Chicago is pleased to join and encourage community attendance and support for JACKIE ROBINSON WEST Day hosted by the Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr and The Rainbow/PUSH Coalition and community in the Main Auditorium of Dr. King's Workshop at Rainbow/PUSH headquarters with special guest MO'NE DAVIS!!! Featured will be Rev. Jackson's public presentation of a trip to DISNEY WORLD for the JRW team!! 

And we are pleased to announce that Spencer Leak, Jr, Vice President of the historic Leak and Sons Funeral confirmed on the WVON-AM Matt McGill Morning show that The Leak and Sons Family will provide ONE YEAR of new housing expenses for one of the JRW members who's family was reported in The Sun Times and other major media today as being homeless. Spencer Leak Jr after WVON then did his first mainstream media announcement with Fox Chicago News' Darlene Hill about the confirmation that when a new house is located for the family that The Leak Family will provide ONE YEAR of housing expenses!!!

National Black Wall Street Chicago will continue to help promote and lobby other Black business leaders and others to join the campaign that started on WVON to help identify the personal and professional resources to help increase the employment status of the parents and resources to identify and prepare a new housing location for this JRW Family!! What Rev. Jackson is doing at Rainbow/PUSH and the major gift from the Leak and Sons Family and community is a great spirit and example of Black Wall Street spirit when the best in our community can come together to provide for the least in our community.
