We live in a world where technology is expanding by the day. Just imagine, the cell phone you used just two years ago is no match for the technology on today's phone!
LET'S TALK TECHNOLOGY will provide an opportunity for you to discover the many functions your device offers and receive hands-on help.
Bring your gadgets and your questions, we will help you to feel knowledgable and confident operating your cell phone, tablet, lap top, e-reader. No question is to small and no problem is too big for us to tackle.
Here's what the day will look like:
11:30 - Welcome & Introductions
12:30 - Lunch & Journaling Activity
1:30 - Small Groups (I-phone, Android,)
3:00 - Small Groups (Laptops, Tablets, E-reader)
4:00 - Social Media..what? how? when?
4:30 - Closing Activity
Meet Your Facilitator
Mrs. Yaa Hatcher has 20 years teaching experience and specializes in Distant Learning with Adult Learners. She has a Master's Degree in Business Education from the University of West Georgia. She currently teaches Technology Classes
(Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point & Programing) at Dobbins Middle School in Paulding County, GA.
Yaa is thrilled about spending the day with you- she is patient, professional, and passionate about teaching Technology!
Who better to help in the hands-on sessions than young people?!
We have two college students who have volunteered to "show you what they know" (of course, they will learn a thing or two from you by the end of the day).
This is a wonderful opportunity to communicate across generations.
The day is planned with YOU in mind... our goal is to leave you feeling technically EMPOWERED!
