Everest Base Camp Trek is the highest surface in the earth was first climbed by Tensing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hillary in 1953 may 29. After the successful expedition over it in 1953, it became dream destination of million people. Firstly, you will commence with a sightseeing of the capital city of the Nepal is Kathmandu. You will tour the major UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the city which includes revered Hindu and Buddhist temples and monasteries. Thousands of Guinness World Records are related to Everest. Mt. Everest commonly known as Sagarmatha in Nepali and Chomolungma in Tibet. Similarly, it also includes the city’s oldest palace complex. Famous for its spectacular mountain peaks and the loyalty and friendliness of its inhabitants (the Sherpas), the Everest region (Khumbu) is one of the most popular destinations for tourists in Nepal. Not only the climbing, trekking around Everest for Everest Base Camp Trekking in Nepal is also popular route of Trekking in Nepal.

Everest Base Camp, the popular trekking destination is dominated by Mt. Everest. Everest Base Camp Trekking offers us lifetime memory. Most of the route we will trekking is inside the Sagarmatha National Park which is also included in world heritage site. Tengboche Monastery along the way is another point of attraction. The short flight to Lukla is adventurous and thrilling. In contrast to the hectic hustle and bustle of Kathmandu, Lukla offers a fresh Himalayan environment that will provide a tranquil environment. The largest Gompa in the Khumbu region was built in 1916 by Lama Gulu has situated at 3,867 m. Upon your arrival in Lukla, you can enjoy the green rolling hills and the distant views of the mountains once you arrive in Lukla. While many of the routes through the mountains are arduous, there are ample places to enjoy a meal along the way.

Culture, religion, rituals, and custom of Sherpa people will be a different experience for us. Sherpa is the ethnic group of people in eastern Nepal. While trekking is possible in this area the whole year round, the best times to visit are from the beginning of March to mid May and from the beginning of September to mid November. The story of Yeti, the history of Tibetan Buddhism, records regarding climbing Everest etc will make our trekking more unforgettable. Later, in a constant companionship of the Himalayas, The Everest Base Camp Kalapathar Trek takes you through many famous Sherpa villages and settlements. It not only includes Namche Bazaar, but also villages like Tengboche and Dingboche etc. In this manner, you will be going through the Sagarmatha National Park which is a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site. After the adventurous flight to Lukla Airstrip, we will be heading towards Phakding.

Next day we start to climb through Manjo village entering to Sagarmatha National park to reach Namche Bazar. Just ask a local the way to the next village on your route, and they will direct you. Most Sherpas under the age of fifty can at least understand basic English, and many speak it fluently. Namche Bazaar is also known as ‘The Gateway of Everest’. After acclimatization on the beautiful area of Namche Bazaar another day we move towards Tengboche. Similarly, we keep moving through Debuche, Pangboche, Dingboche, Thukla, Lobuche, Gorak Shep until we reach Everest Base Camp. April and early May is a good time to see the hedgerows and trees bursting into bloom, with Rhododendrons, in particular, adding a spectacular splash of colour to the landscape. However, dust from the plains of India during the spring routinely provide less than ideal conditions for clear mountain views. After hiking to Kala Pattar, we will back through Pheriche and most of the way will be similar up to Lukla.

Trekking from Lukla to Lukla will be 14 days in total including 2 days acclimatization on the way. The winters are very cold and snow may make it difficult to travel higher than Tengboche, and also lodges may be closed above this altitude. Summers, on the other hand, are wet, and the spectacular peaks are often lost in the clouds. Likewise, the Everest Base Camp Trek also includes the vantage point of Kalapathar. In addition to all these that the trek has to provide, you can enjoy a breath-taking panorama of the entire Mount Everest massif form there.  The views are much better after the summer monsoons have cleared the atmosphere of dust, but the days are shorter and cooler. Along with the visit to the Syangboche even some high up, you can also visit the Tengboche Monastery. Similarly, The Khumbu Glacier and the Icefall are also some places that are notably famous in this area. Eventually, you will enjoy visiting the base of the world’s tallest mountain.
