Darryl Wisher truthfully - I would have to respectfully disagree - it was a knowledge of our history of achievement that propelled me forward. Indeed I think that because most of our youth LACKS that same appreciation that we have NOT gone as far as many of them did. HBCU's were the creation of our ancestors for the sake of thier progeny- had more of our community followed that ancestoral pathway more of us would be in college rather than prison
