Black women who were lynched.

The two links below go to a blog which I have been keeping for several years on the life of Henrietta Vinton Davis a member of the UNIA and Director of the Black Star Line amongst other accolades.

The information first came to me in the mid 90s.  A friend had received the pamphlet referred to in the first link and shared it with me.  While maintaining the blog information and raising awareness of the need for a headstone for Miss Davis it dawned on me that the women who were lynched have no headstones marking their final resting places either.

Further investigation revealed the work of the list compiled in the second link to document all recorded cases of Black women who were lynched.
