This rara lake trek through the remote wild of western Nepal to visit Rara Lake, Nepal's biggest at 16 sq km, offers a sublime affair of nature. Starting the trek from the mountain airstrip at Jumla the trail goes through green field, giving looks of a society and landscape very not the same as that discovered somewhere else in Nepal, which in the long run prompts Rara Lake National Park. This wonderful high height lake is encompassed by Himalayan glades and woods of pine, juniper and spruce, while out of sight you can see the grand snow-topped pinnacles of the high Himalayas. The whole course is 'off the beaten track'; it includes the intersection of Danphya Langa Pass at 3,720m while in transit to Rara Lake and two edges at around 3,500m when climbing back.
In spite of the fact that this trek never achieves any incredible elevation it involves a great deal of here and there strolling. By the by any sensibly fit individual can do this outdoors trek at whatever time in April or May and September or October.
