On Tuesday, July 20th, the Newark chapter of the New Black Panther Party will host a special talk by student leader Baruti Kafele.
Kafele, the son of nationally renown educator and writer Baruti Kafele, spent considerable time in Egypt recently, exploring that incredible ancient legacy. He will be doing a presentation detailing the moving depth and breadth of that legacy through his journey.
This special presentation will take place from 6:30 to 8:30p.m. at Waset Kommuniversity, 271 So. 9th St., Newark.
“This talk is not just about claiming our incredible ancestral legacy,” explained Muhammad.
“It’s more about a new generation opening its eyes and claiming the legacy as the crucial beginning to us solving our problems.”
